Xzaviah J. Stone Sr.

Xzaviah J. Stone Sr. is a filmmaker, primarily focused on producing, writing, and directing. He uses narrative filmmaking as an avenue to bring a proper representation of black stories and the themes that surround them to mass audiences. He is a graduate of Emerson College with an MFA in Film & Media Arts and The University of Tampa with a BA in Film & Media Arts. Xzaviah has experience as a film producer and Instructor of records at Emerson College. He is the founder and creator of ReelTalk Podcast, primarily focused on cinema and the representation of Black actors and creators in the film & television industry. Xzaviah has appeared on Boston 25 News discussing the representation of black people at the 2021 Oscars and in Hollywood. His most recent work includes his thesis film titled “Nalb Noum” which is currently going through a festival circuit.
